After spending 5 days with the players, parents and all the friends from all over Australia the impression is that this was once again a great tournament.
The friendships that the kids and parents have made in the 5 days that they have spent together is something priceless in all of this, the once that have been a part of all of this for this year know this from one year to another when we return back home.
With the friendships and gratification, we also have to mention the achieved results.
In every aspect this year was special for all of us, after joining us last year for DMC in Sydney, we once again had the privilege and honor to be a host for our Serbian basketball representative 3X3 Dusan Domovic Bulut.
The five days spend with the best player 3X3 who is also the world champion and Serbian representative was such a privileged and honor of all of us as a team in Melbourne.
I have to emphasize that I’m very proud of all my teams and players for showing good sportsmenship outside court as well as on the court as well as attending all the games. Therefore, we didn’t miss the phenomenal achievements for this year. We had five teams in the finals where four teams came out as champions and one team didn’t get to win in the finals.
Overall the achievement is even greater if you look at the overall tournament as it had eight different divisions and we played five different division finals out of those eight in different age groups.
Secondly what also needs to be mentioned is that two teams haven’t made it to the semifinals due to just one basket difference which is once again a proof that on this tournament every basket is important as well as a bit of good luck dose.
This year our girl’s teams didn’t join us however I’m sure they would have given us great achievements if they have joined us.
Altogether we had nine teams competing in five different divisions. We have played 30 games altogether. We have won 21 and lost 9. However, on the day of tournament only one game was lost.
Boys U 14 are runners up while Boys U 16 and U 18 are champions as well as Men’s Div 2 have been champions for three years in a row in Men’s Division 2.
In this year DMC in Melbourne all together with players, parents and friends there was 82 of us attending and presenting our club, which is an impressed number for one tournament.

Završni zaključak i utisak sa Draža Mihailović Kupa ( DMC ) 2017 godine u Melbourne-u .
Posle pet dana provedenih sa igračima ,roditeljima i svim prijateljima sa svih strana Australije utisak je da je ovo bio samo još jedan u nizu dobrih turnira .
Pre svega druženje i prijateljstvo koje svi ti klinci a i roditelji imaju u tih pet dana provedenih zajedno je nešto neprocenjivo u svemu ovome a oni koji su bili deo sveg ovoga i ove godine tačno znaju to iz godine u godinu svaki put kad se vratimo kući .
Pored tog druženja i zadovoljstva moramo spomenuti i postignute rezultate .
Svakako ova godina je bila za sve nas posebna , posle prošlogodišnjeg prisustva na DMC u Sydney-u imali smo tu čast i privilegiju da ponovo ugostimo našeg Srpskog reprezentativca u basketu 3x3 Dusana Domovica Buluta.
Pet dana provedenih sa najboljim igračem 3x3 i koji se svetski šampion i srpski reprezentativac je svakako bila čast i privilegija svih nas da bude deo naše ekipe u Melbourne-u .
Moram to istaći da sam jako ponosan na sve svoje timove i igrače pre svega jednim lepim zdravim sportskim ponašanjem van terena i na samom terenu kao i samim pristupom svakoj utakmici tako da u svemu tome nije izostao ni fenomenalan uspeh ove godine.Imali smo 5 timova u finalima gde su 4 tima izašli kao pobednici dok jedan tim ipak nije uspeo da pobedi u finalu .
Generalno uspeh je svakako još veći ako se gleda ceo turnir jer je sve ukupno bilo 8 razlicitih divizija a mi smo igrali finala u 5 od tih 8 divizija u razlicitim uzrastima.Takodjer treba spomenuti da dve ekipe nisu prošle u polufinale samo zbog koš razlike što je samo još jedan dokaz da je na ovakvim turnirima svaki koš važan kao i ta mala doza sportske sreće .Ove godine su izostale naše cure koje verujem da su bile sa nama da bih isto tako imale uspeha .
Sve ukupno je učestovalo 9 naših timova u pet različitih divizija . Odigrali smo sve ukupno 30 utakmica od toga smo pobedili 21 i izgubili 9 od čega moram napomenuti drugog dana samo jedan poraz .
Momci ispod 14 godina su vicešampioni a šampioni su momci ispod 16 i 18 godina kao i muška divizija 2 koja treći put za redom osvaja titulu najbolje ekipe u muškoj diviziji 2 .
Na ovom DMC 2017 u Melbourne-u sve ukupno sa igračima , roditeljima i prijateljima bilo nas je 82 sto su predstavljali naš klub svakako impozantan broj za jedan turnir .
